Golfer’s: Are Your Hips To Blame For The Golfer’s Elbow?

My golfers are surprised when I tell them we need to look at their hips when they come to me for their golfer’s elbow.

They think I failed all of my anatomy and physiology. They will often re-inform me that their pain is in their elbow an...

You are humming along, just finished playing a round of golf when you pull up to the cart drop-off. You reach to grab your bag off the cart and WHAM, pain on the inside of your elbow makes you drop the bag right back onto the cart.

I would like to share my recent fantastic experience at Spark Performance and Physiotherapy. I sustained a calf muscle strain while playing tennis and wanted to not only heal but also to learn how to avoid further injury. Steve's knowledge of the mechanics of my sport enabled him to develop a treatment plan that was spot on for my needs. Steve was constantly at my side instructing and encouraging. Being the total focus of a therapist's attention insured that exercises were done correctly every time. I returned to my sport with the confidence that I had healed and with the knowledge to help avoid further injury. In future, if I ever need therapy again I will definitely return to Spark. Steve's focus is on enabling adults to continue participate in the activities they enjoy regardless of age. Tiffany at the desk is an absolute delight. Steve is professional, knowledgable, friendly and personable. I thoroughly enjoyed our lively conversations. I am exceedingly pleased with th...

This is by far the best place I have ever encountered for PT. I brought my teenaged daughter to rehab a hamstring tear. The DPT is Steven who owns the business. Each session is a hour and Steven personally works with her the entire time. No one else is there. Encouraging, challenging and entertaining. He also sent her home with exercises after making sure she knew what to do. My daughter no longer dreads PT. This one on one service is practically unheard of in this day and age. Steven has years of experience, knows his craft extensively and will fix you the right way. Abandon ye the cattle call PT centers. You will not be disappointed with this choice.

If you're looking for a physical therapist and fitness plays any significant role in your life or you're just looking for an honest patient-centered practice, your search is over. Steven is the man. Nicest guy you'll ever meet. He listened and knew exactly what I was talking about when explaining my pain and background. Within one session, he was able to diagnose and provide relief and help me come up with a plan to make sure it would never happen again. This was my first time seeing a physical therapist and I was a little skeptical at first. Absolutely no regrets.
