Golfer’s: Are Your Hips To Blame For The Golfer’s Elbow?

My golfers are surprised when I tell them we need to look at their hips when they come to me for their golfer’s elbow.

They think I failed all of my anatomy and physiology. They will often re-inform me that their pain is in their elbow an...

You are humming along, just finished playing a round of golf when you pull up to the cart drop-off. You reach to grab your bag off the cart and WHAM, pain on the inside of your elbow makes you drop the bag right back onto the cart.

“What the heck was that pain? Did I break something? How am I go...

I would like to share my recent fantastic experience at Spark Performance and Physiotherapy. I sustained a calf muscle strain while playing tennis and wanted to not only heal but also to learn how to avoid further injury. Steve's knowledge of the mechanics of my sport enabled him to develop a treatment plan that was spot on for my needs. Steve was constantly at my side instructing and encouraging. Being the total focus of a therapist's attention insured that exercises were done correctly every time. I returned to my sport with the confidence that I had healed and with the knowledge to help avoid further injury. In future, if I ever need therapy again I will definitely return to Spark. Steve's focus is on enabling adults to continue participate in the activities they enjoy regardless of age. Tiffany at the desk is an absolute delight. Steve is professional, knowledgable, friendly and personable. I thoroughly enjoyed our lively conversations. I am exceedingly pleased with th...

It's my pleasure to strongly recommend Steven Alexander and Spark Performance and Physical Therapy. While vacationing in Mesa, AZ, I brought the need for physical therapy on a sciatic nerve issue with me from Des Moines, Iowa. With no local references to a qualified health care provider, I simply selected Steven and Spark from a Google search. I reached out via Steven's website with an email to explain my situation and within hours received a personal phone call from Steven, who spent nearly 30 minutes with me on the phone to assess my needs and explain his treatment methodology/philosophy. What a good fortune to identify Steven and his clinic! Professional, courteous, well-trained and effective, Steven accommodated my schedule by offering an immediate appointment. If what you're looking for is a 20 minute massage and 40 minutes warm up on a stationary bike, DO NOT utilize Steven Alexander and his clinic!! If instead you're looking for a 60 minute, personalized, targeted, safe and e...

I highly recommend Spark. I’ve had physical therapy at a number of different businesses and usually had a great experience. However, at spark it was even better. I had individual attention from the physical therapist for my entire hour long treatment. It’s individualized and enjoyable!
